Fitness @11 York Street

We’ve been reviewing attendance numbers and interest for the Yoga sessions at 11 York Street and we’ve decided to trial an alternative approach over the coming weeks to alternate sessions between the classic Yin Yang Yoga and a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) session.

 

HIIT Sessions will run at a beginner friendly level similar to our Yin Yang Yoga sessions and will take place at the same time of 1:15 – 2:15pm, on the rooftop in good weather and the lounge if weather is not appropriate.

 

May 21st – Rooftop Body HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training for strength

June 11th – Yin Yang Yoga

June 25th - Rooftop Body HIIT: High Intensity Interval Training for strength

 

We will then review and get feedback from attendees to see if we want to continue with the variation offered.

 

Yin Yang Yoga will continue to comprise of 2 x 30 minute sessions each focusing on a different function and benefit. 

Yin - A slow paced yoga class with breathwork targeting the connective tissues of the body. To leave you feeling relaxed and grounded. Perfect for overcoming a stressful morning or if you just feel like you need a calm moment.

Yang - An energising yoga flow and let it go class. Expect rinse out of body, mind and soul to help you stretch out tired and tight muscles from sitting at your desk. 

 

Spaces are limited and will be booked on a first come first serve basis. To book your space please email reception@11YS.co.uk and state which sessions you wish to book on to.

*Mats will not be provided and so you will need to bring your own yoga mat for these sessions.
